The Lady Bunny is the US's most famous drag queen nation wide after her best friend, Ru Paul, of course. Originating her drag in Atlanta (the "Lady" moniker is actually a hilarious nod to serious female impersonators) she moved to NYC with Ru as her room mate. There she frequented bars like the Pyramid Club. Starting Wigstock almost by accident she ran it for years until it grew too big for her to want to take on (nor did she want to give it away and see it commercialized). Read more on Last.fm
