NYC Live and Dangerous, May 26th at NYC BerlinThis year, some of NYCs finest will be paying tribute to one of Irelands greatest rock bands of all time, Thin Lizzy, on Tuesday May 26th, at NYC Berlin. Our goal is to reproduce Phil Lynotts swagger and soul through the lens of New York musicians.Singers will include: Ted Leo (Ted Leo and the Pharmacists, The Both), Joan Wasser (Joan As Police Woman, Iggy Pop, Antony and the Johnsons the Dambuilders) Nathan Larson (Shudder to Think, A Camp) Matt Keating (Bastards of Fine Art), Rene Lo Bue (Elk City), Lizzie Edwards (Lizzie and the Makers), Kelsey Warren (Blak Emoji), Diane Gentile, Colin Burns (Goldmine Shihouse, La Gritona, Slaughter Shack) and others to come! Backing this lineup is a band of heavy hitters: Daniel Glass (Royal Crown Revue, Brian Setzer, Bette Midler, Mike Ness) on drums, Dave Derby (Lloyd Cole, The Dambuilders, Gramercy Arms) on bass, Chris Robertson (Elk City, James Mastro) on guitar, and Mike Potenza (The Anderson Council, Melancholy Kings, Gramercy Arms, Crash Harmony), Peter Hess (The Phillip Glass Ensemble, The World Inferno Friendship Society, The Hold Steady), Nils Larson and others rounding out the sound.
