The OG of Italian Comedy is coming to Galuppis. In Joe Avatis new show, which took out the 2024 award for Best Comedy Act he asks you to leave your political correctness at the door as he delivers his hilarious insights on how times have changed for better or worse since he grew up as a teenager in the 80s as the son of Italian parents in Australia. Internationally renowned for his inimitable style Avati, who is Australian born with an Italian heritage is a master of treading the very fine line saying what everyone seems to think but no one dares to say whilst not resorting to the use of profanities or vulgar shock tactic routines in doing so. Its not surprising that he won the 2024 Australian Comedian of the Year award.
