About

The Imaginaries were a lo-fi indie-rock band formed in early 2007 and split in late 2009 from Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Their sound and style was influenced by artists such as Velvet Underground, The Kinks, Pavement, Silver Jews, early Weezer, Bob Dylan, and The Rolling Stones. While The Imaginaries played live as a full band, their albums were recorded on an iMac with only the lead singer playing.
