The Hard Promises came about after front man Caleb Christner and lead guitar player Adam Mandarino’s last band Common Misconception broke up in late 08. After a short stint writing country music, Caleb decided it was time to get back to making the kind of music that changed his life way back when he was thirteen years old. Christner called on old friend and ex anaphora drummer Adam Silvenis to get things started. The two worked out songs starting in mid February. Read more on Last.fm
